New Binibini Queens in 2 weeks

In 2 weeks time, Mary Jean Lastimosa, Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti, Parul Shah, Kris Tiffany Janson and Yvethe Marie Santiago will be turning over their crowns to their respective national successors - that's five crowns, not the buzz earlier where BPCI might just give 3. We just wish that BPCI will find a new "Tourism" franchise and not linger to MTQI which seemed to turn into a fly by night contest since there are so many Tourism pageants available.

Bb. Pilipinas 2015: Wynwyn Marquez out to beat the odds

To my recent memory, there are several celebrities who have tried their luck for a Bb. Pilipinas crown, Wendy Valdez was Bb. Pilipinas 1st Runner Up in 2005 and Richell Angalot (Rich Asuncion) managed to secure a 1st Runner Up title in 2009. *Please add more celebrities if you remember anyone*

This year, Wynwyn is out to prove that she is not just the niece of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez nor the daughter of Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, she is out to prove that she is indeed ready for a Bb. Pilipinas crown.

Backed by Aces and Queens, Wynwyn hopes she will land the crown on March 15.

She is part of the Top 5 of the Best in National Costume to which she donne a creation made by Frederick Peralta. The winner will be announced on the Finals Night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum , ,

Can Joseph Doruelo win Mister Global 2015?

The first two from the 2014 Batch of Misters of the Philippines in Adam Rhys Davies (Mister Model International 3rd Runner Up 2014) and Neil Perez (Mister International 2014) came in victorious, can Joseph Markus Doruelo, reigning Mister Global Philippines follow suit? 

This handsome registered nurse has already flown for Thailand for this year's Mister Global which would start on February 26 up to the finals night on March 15. He will be wearing a creation of Edwin Uy and will perform a Dinagyang Festival Dance for the talent competition.

Joseph follows Wilfred Placencia who was Mr. Global 2014 4th Runner Up.

Bb. Pilipinas 2015 candidates and reigning queens wear JPNY Collection

If there is one thing about BPCI these days, probably a push for more Filipino talent in their lineup, at their recent OBB shoot for Bb. Pilipinas 2015 saw the work of Jeffrey Rogador which had the official candidates and the reigning queens, Kris Tiffany Janson, Mary Jean Lastimosa, Bianca Guidotti and Yvethe Santiago wear the JPNY Collection.

If this is the start of something new definitely it will be a welcome it especially for us Bb. Pilipinas Charities is one of the biggest pageants to watch out for year after year. , ,

Mister International 2014/15 Results: Neil Perez wins the crown

It took a lot of delays before Mister International 2014/15 was mounted. On Valentine's Day, Jose Anmer Paredes of Venezuela (Mister International 2013) crowned Mister International Philippines 2014 Neil Perez as the winner of Mister International 2014/15 held in Seoul, Korea. 

 The emotional Neil dedicate his victory to the Fallen 44 in Mamasapano last January 25.

Bb. Pilipinas 2015: The Lady Who Can't win Intercontinental

Christi Lynn McGarry is one Bb. Pilipinas 2015 hopeful who cannot be considered to succeed Kris Tiffany Janson and become Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015.

You got me right, she was one like Lourenz Grace Remetillo (2013) when BPCI acquired the franchise for Supranational back then. Christi meanwhile represented the country to Miss Intercontinental 2010 when the original representative, Carla Jenina Lizardo did not compete at the time that Miss Intercontinental was still with Mutya ng Pilipinas. She managed to be a part of the Top 15 and Miss Intercontinental Asia & Oceania.

Christi or Ashley can still vie for three good crowns - Universe, International, Supranational - where would you place her by now?

Pinay Beauty Queen Season 2: Winner becomes Miss Grand Philippines 2015

Indeed a level up for the Season 2 of Pinay Beauty Queen Academy, the winner will become Miss Grand Philippines 2015 and will earn the right to represent the country in the 2015 Miss Grand International in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mister International Philippines Neil Perez arrives in Seoul

By now, Mister International Philippines Neil Perez has already landed in Seoul for the start of the Mister International 2014 which Finals will happen on February 12.

Neil will be going up with 42 other delegates hoping to at least replicate the feat of 2013 Mister International 4th Runner Up Gil Wagas or better yet, follow the reigning King Jose Anmer Paredes (Mister International 2013)

Neil dedicates this battle to the Fallen 44 in the Masampano Clash in Maguindanao.
