Bb. Pilipinas 2015 Queens and their Dairy Queen TVC launch

Pia Wurtzbach, Janicel Lubina, Rogelie Catacutan, Christi Lynn McGarry and Ann Lorraine Colis all attended the Press Launch of the first Dairy Queen TV Commercial.

Reports say that the TVC will be out on June 28 on Cable TV and hopefully weeks thereafter, Local TV, perfect for this summer heat, then go to the nearest Dairy Queen outlets nationwide.

Miss World 2013 Megan Young is the new Marimar

After a successful reign as Miss World until the crowning of Rolene Strauss, Miss World 2013 Megan Young is now taking on a new phase as the new Marimar. She was ushered in as one of the new cast members which will pair her with hunk actor Tom Rodriguez. 

The pressure is on for both Megan and Tom as Marimar is a highly touted TV affair of Thalia which was already done by the beautiful Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. There will be comparisons (especially for those who followed the original and the first local remake) but we know how Megan would do her best to do away from copying and make her role her own.

Sasi Sintawee guns for Miss International Thailand 2015

Miss Earth 2014 Top 16 Semifinalist Sasi Sintawee never had the chance to relinquish her crown at the Miss Grand Thailand 2015 Coronation Night as the franchise do not own anymore the Miss Earth title, instead of sulking that she didn't had the chances, she will be following the pursuit of Punika Kulsoontornrut (who was Miss International 2014 2nd Runner Up and was later on involved in a ketamine incident) and now have her eyes of representing the country to the Miss International 2015 pageant by joining the Miss International Thailand 2015 contest.

Angelia Ong on Aquino and Abunda Tonight

24 year old Angelia Gabrena Ong was crowned as the Crystal Queen in the recent Miss Philippines Earth 2015. She is a working student from Dela Salle College of Saint Benilde and is already a familiar face in pageantry with her stints with Bb. Pilipinas 2011 and last year's Miss Manila where she was 2nd Runner Up.

She was a recent guest at Aquino and Abunda Tonight where she shares her life with the show's main host, Boy Abunda and the pressures of inheriting the crown from Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell.

Chanel Olive Thomas: The Lady who was almost Miss Philippines Earth

During last week's Miss Philippines Earth 2015 Coronation Night, I only had my eyes on Angelia Ong and Chanel Olive Thomas, truth be told, the two ladies went neck to neck with Angelia winning the crown from Jamie Herrell, but despite having to settle for a runner-up position, the Fil-Aussie beauty queen opted to take it as a challenge to promote the causes of Miss Philippines Earth which includes her own cause to help public transportation.

Chanel is a Model, Blogger but rose to the public's eye when she became the girlfriend of Pasion De Amor actor Jake Cuenca. When asked if she felt with the question that Jake was a factor in his victory, Chanel quickly quipped that it was not a factor and she was happy on how her first pageant turned out and has given her the Miss Philippines Air title. 

From the 31st of May when they were crowned until they turn over their tiaras next year, expect Chanel, Catherine, Carla and Jona to be right on the side of Angelia who will try to do the hard way,  a back-to-back for Miss Earth 2015
