Coming back for one more time on the same pageant can prove to be a gamble especially if you have already placed it on your first try. Some are victorious with this gamble (Dianne Necio 2010 1st Runner Up turned Bb. Pilipinas International 2011 and Janine Tugonon 2011 1st Runner Up turned Miss Universe Philippines 2012) while some went away with placements lower than their first try (Mary Jean Lastimosa 2nd Runner Up in 2011 and a Semifinalist in 2012 as an example).
On the side of Miss World Philippines, now on its 3rd year, one lady coming back for the crown is 24 year old Ma. Paula Bianca Paz, who was MWP 2011 3rd RU behind Gwendoline Ruais, Helen Nicolette Henson and Martha Chloe McCulley. She made it to the official list of candidates for 2013, but with equally astonishing candidates in Megan Young, Patricia Ejercitado, Samantha Bernardo and more, will the gamble pay off for her?
