Miss Earth Water 2013 Punika Kulsoontornrut is no longer the reigning Miss Earth Water after she was dethroned by the Philippines-based organizers, Carousel Productions for violating the contract stipulated of a Miss Earth Winner (the crowned queen and the 3 elemental queens).
Kulsoontornrut was handed a letter informing of her dethronement after joining Miss International, where according to their contract, a Miss Earth Winner would have to finish her year's reign before entering another competition.
According to reports, Kulsoontornrut was given ample time to withdraw by Miss Earth but seemed to have no intention of withdrawing so the dethronement decision has been reached.
Should Polly be part of Miss International 2014, she would be facing off with Bb. Pilipinas-International Bianca Guidotti to try to succeed Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago in Tokyo, Japan.
