As we await today’s Miss Philippines Earth 2016 Finals, we say gracias
to the outgoing Miss Philippines Earth 2015 and Miss Earth 2015 Angelia
Ong. Angelia has been the queen she envisioned herself to be – with her
battlecry “We Will Because We Can”, she downplayed doubts by going all
the way to the finals and go on to achieve a back-to-back feat after her
predecessor, Jamie Herrell.

It was indeed a fruitful reign as the Philippines’ woman of the Earth
for Angelia, she relinquishes her national crown later and continues her
journey as Miss Earth.
