There is undeniably pressure at Ara Arida to win it, after Janine Tugonon has almost made the title in 2012 and A&Q and BPCI are leaving no stones unturned to help her prepare for the contest. Her latest pictures were a product of her intense training & effort and while her bashers have concentrated on her Q&A being to be non-conversionalist, there is a gut feel that Ara will be using her heart to translate words to people when she reaches that stage.

Bb. Pilipinas 2012 2nd Runner Up Ali Forbes gets the opportunity of a lifetime to represent the country to the first Miss Grand International 2013. With no less than the owner of Miss Grand International picking Ali in a casting call, She is seen to be one of the contenders for the first Miss Grand crown and I am sure John Dela Vega is going to help make it happen.

With the Miss Earth finals to happen here in Manila, PH, Angelee is preparing like she is competing in a different land, trying to make sure that she would not be bashed with an eventual placement if it happens. She would also use the "home crowd" as the opportunity to get her all confident until the Q&A. Q&A wise she is ready, we've seen her interviews in the past that she would answer questions thrown at her with ease (See previous post with Boy Abunda).

The Philippines had been in the Top 15 of Miss International for the past 5 years and has won the most number of MI titles since the days of Gemma Cruz Araneta back in 1964. This year, Bea who traces her roots from Masbate will try to win the MI title for the Philippines. Top 15 placement? Within reach. Miss International crown? Not far from being impossible.

The Cebuana is out to capture the hearts of the people behind MTI and hopefully, register a back-to-back win for the Philippines.
