The City Government of Manila has announced that the search is on for the next Miss Manila 2014 as a part of the Araw ng Maynila celebration on June 24.
1. Be a naturally born female.
2. Be a Filipino citizen.
3. Be born in the city of Manila or a resident of Manila for at least one year by the day of the pageant.
4. Be at least 18 years old and not older than 25 years old by the day of the pageant.
5. Possess good moral character.
6. Be at least 5 feet, 4 inches tall.
7. Be single.
8. Be at least a high school graduate.
9. Be proficient and articulate in both Filipino and English.
10. Have knowledge of the history, tradition, culture, demographics, business environment and other relevant information about Manila.
Application forms may be secured at the Tourism Office of Manila City Hall or the Liga ng mga Barangay on the 4th Floor. It may also be downloaded at www.missmanila2014.ph. The requirements must be submitted to the Miss Manila 2014 Secretariat, c/o Miss Liz Villasenor at the Tourism Office.
Deadline of application forms will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2014.
Screening will be held on May 24 at the Palacio de Maynila from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Miss Manila 2014” title awaits the modern Manileña who exudes grace, beauty, passion,
intelligence and optimism. The proceeds of this year’s pageant will benefit the Dialysis Center of MARE Foundation, Inc., a non-profit institution headed by its Chairperson, Dra. Luisa Loi Ejercito-Estrada. This year’s Pageant Director is Ms. Jackie Ejercito-Lopez.
