Diane Carmela Querrer may have not gotten the top plum but placing 2nd in the recent Miss Philippines Earth 2014 pageant is more than an achievement. After being booted out on the official list of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 candidates over height qualifications, The 25 year old Querrer never hesitated to jump ship from Aces to KF and eventually go to Miss Philippines Earth 2014.
What's next for Diane? With age restrictions slowly coming her way, the idea is to just finish the Miss Air reign this year with fellow elemental court winners: Kimberly (Water), Bianca (Fire) and Monique (Eco-Tourism). They can also be a support group to Jamie as the later prepares for Miss Philippines Earth.
While there is no guarantee for an international pageant, I hope to see Diane be given a chance to compete in one - maybe even in a third-tier pageant so that she can actually show her stuff. Having been included in KF and Aces and Queens this year, she can definitely use her trainings to her advantage once given the green light to do so.
