Last July 2, Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation officially starts its Casting Call for Misters of Filipinas 2016 at One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Grounds, Pasay City.


In a handful of men that joined, A familiar face beckons the initial screening, Alberto Rodulfo “AR” Dela Serna, who wore #11 in the Casting Call. AR, the former Misters 2015 1st Runner Up resigned last May 2016 and spent his vacant time in Bohol before submitting the applications to rejoin Misters of Filipinas.


The Casting Call would still run for a couple of more weeks before the Final Callback where PEPPS would announce the Official Candidates. Nevertheless, AR’s supporters are rallying in support for him this early. This also downplays previous speculations of AR jumping ship as some Misters 2015 devotees had thought of following the trend of previous winners going to another organization.

Your blogger is pretty certain of the improvement he has as he comes back and his journey to another spot at the Official Candidates this year is something we can all look forward to.

Kiara Giel Gregorio (MPE-Air), Imelda Schweighart (MPE 2016), The Man Behind KF, Rodgil Flores and Melanie Mader (MPE-Tourism)

At the end of the Miss Philippines Earth nationals, we saw the crowning of Imelda Schweighart who comes from the Kagandahang Flores camp and two more ladies within the Top 5 in Kiara Giel Gregorio (MPE-Air 2016) and Melanie Mader (MPE-Eco Tourism 2016) and the man better known as the pillar of KF, Rodgil Flores is definitely one happy trainer.

This is KF's 9th straight Miss Philippines Earth crown and it is no secret that they have produced majority of the winners since 2001.

PEPPS Foundation, organizers of Misters of Filipinas 2016 announces the initial Casting Call for the NEXT Exceptional Misters of Filipinas.

Be the Next Mister International Philippines, Man of the World Philippines, Manhunt International Philippines, Man of the Year Philippines and Mister Globe Philippines.

If you got what it takes and has met the qualifications stated above (Single, 18 to 28 years old, At least 5’10” in height, Dynamic and Fit), please email your photos, contact number, age, height at peps.philippines@yahoo.com.ph and mistersoffilipinas@gmail.com. Deadline of Applications will be on June 30, 2016.

There would be a special go-see (casting call) in Tagum on June 19, 2016 10AM-2 PM. Manhunt International Philippines 2015 Don Mcgyver Cochico and Mister International 2014 Neil Perez would be present  in the event.

The Manila Casting would happen on July 2, 2016 and your blogger would be giving you details once things are final with the organization.

As we await today’s Miss Philippines Earth 2016 Finals, we say gracias to the outgoing Miss Philippines Earth 2015 and Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong. Angelia has been the queen she envisioned herself to be – with her battlecry “We Will Because We Can”, she downplayed doubts by going all the way to the finals and go on to achieve a back-to-back feat after her predecessor, Jamie Herrell.

 It was indeed a fruitful reign as the Philippines’ woman of the Earth for Angelia, she relinquishes her national crown later and continues her journey as Miss Earth.

The 23 year old Boholano hottie has already announced his resignation from PEPPS and doing activities in lieu of Misters 2016 and now what gives?

Alberto Rodulfo “AR” Dela Serna was one of those winners from PEPPS that your blogger has followed from the beginning of his journey through Misters 2015. We had not seen each other personally, but his demeanor and his way of talking with fans would make you love him more. (He already had a fan base in Buddies, whom he shares with reigning Manhunt Philippines Don Cochico).

On the brink of numerous pageant resignations, AR stayed loyal to the organization, your blogger even remembers the surprise party which was thrown for him by PEPPS, if that isn’t loyalty, I wonder what you mean by that.

His resignation brings about a lot of questions to this date, some of which may make people speculate from time to time, so some of them are partly answered here:.

• Is he transferring? As far as I have read and learned, he is not (Numerous people have already had it in their mind that he is transferring to another management).
  PEPPS VP Jhune Salud already addressed the issue that there was no issue with PEPPS and AR is also not transferring to any other camp.
• What brought him to resign? Personal Decision, AR had always emphasized that and  he has been grateful to PEPPS.
• Will he consider joining one more time? Only  AR can tell.

People behind the organization cannot downplay speculations, but those who know AR, you definitely know the answer to all this.

For now, the former Misters 2015 – Tagbilaran City, Bohol enjoys his time off back in his hometown, still answering messages, commenting through every fan’s comments and addressing the buddies who still went out their way to support both AR and Don.

To my dear AR: I’ve always admired how you, Don and Karan stayed within the organization until the end, loyalty is definitely unquestionable, and while your blogger is stunned to know you did resign, rest assured that the #buddies and your Madam (yes, AR calls me Madam) would support whatever you do – whether be successful in another goal or to come back and join Misters 2016 – 2017 or 2018.

24 year old Jay Daniel Chuong (a.k.a. Jay Daniel Verano) wins Mister Golden Universe 2016 1st Runner Up.

Jay, who was originally the candidate of Mister United Continents Philippines to Mister Imperial Universe Pageant had an early mission to Manaus, Brazil, and he did exceed everybody's expectations by getting near the crown.

Jay wore a Mikee Sangco national costume and trained under Gouldian's Makoy Manlapaz.

Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPs), franchise holder of Mister International, Manhunt International and Man of the Year Philippines has been supportive to what your blogger has found good to write. The reigning winners: Don Cochico (Manhunt Int'l PH), Karan (Man of the Year PH) and AR (1st RU) had all been friendly (and your blogger thinks it would be easy to work with them personally).

Your blogger is grateful for PEPPs: Sir Jhune Salud, Sir Carlo Morris Galang, Mam Marianne Galang, Sir Dan Apacible, the winners circle of PEPPs for the last 2 years: Sir Neil Perez, Nicko Cruz, AR Dela Serna, Karan Singhdole, Don Cochico. Looking forward to more activities leading through Misters 2016. Your blogger does not call blogging as a career rather as a way of supporting advocacies - something PEPPs always had a strong stand for.

5 New Ladies have been selected to replace and complete the cast for Bb. Pilipinas 2016. The 5 originally chosen contestants were disqualified due to height reasons.

Bb. Pilipinas Candidate # 6 - Candy Del Castillo (JDV) is a private school teacher from Bocaue, Bulacan.

Candidate # 8 - Karen Ibasco

Bb. Pilipinas Candidate # 8 - Karen Ibasco (KF) is a beauty and brain charmer, she has a master's degree in Applied Physics (Cum Laude) and once worked as a medical physicist for St. Luke's Medical Center.

Candidate # 24 - Niza Sabrina Sophia Limjap

Bb. Pilipinas Candidate # 24 - Niza Sabrina Sophia Limjap is a former TV host and was connected with Rustans.

Bb. Pilipinas Candidate #34 - Sarah Bona (KF) has a lot of regional titles, including a 2nd Runner Up title in Miss Bicolandia 2012 to her belt.

The Misters 2015 reigning winners had their courtesy call last week with Viva Artists Agency, the above photo shows AR Dela Serna (1st RU), Don McGyver Cochico (Manhunt International Philippines 2016), Neil Perez (Mister International 2014), Karan Singhdole (Man of the Year Philippines 2016) and Christian Mark Galang (Mister Asia PH 2014) in the VIVA Office for possible collaboration that may happen (as to what, you do have to stay tune!)


They also had a round table discussion with UNICEF Philippines, to which PEPPS will have numerous activities in partnership with this year.

A fiercer Nichole Marie Manalo made it to the Official List of Candidates this year.

The photo above, one of Nichole's latest shows how the youngest Manalo had improved for the better, with the hopes of finally landing a Bb. Pilipinas crown.

She already made it to the Top 15 in the 2014 Nationals and with this year being her last chance, Nichole may probably had a few aces on her sleeves, something for sure we had not seen for a long time.

And I'm sure her Ate Katherine and Ate Bianca would be really proud of her.

With the victory of Mister Philippines 2015 Mike Gerard Mendoza as the 2015 Senior Grand Champion Male Model of the World in the recent World Championship of Performing Arts, the Mister Philippines Inc. Organization is extra motivated in the 2016 Search.

Titles at stake for this year’s competition are Mister Universe Philippines 2016, Mister Global Philippines 2016, Mister Global Teen Philippines 2016, Mister Philippines Tourism 2016, and Mister Philippines-World Championships of Performing Arts Best Model of the World 2016. The grand coronation night of Mister Philippines 2016 will be staged at the Tanghalang Pasigueños come April 14, Thursday, at 7 p.m.

The First Audition will be held on February 19, 2016 from 9PM - 6PM at the at the El Jardin del Presidente Club House, #41 Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, Brgy. South Triangle, Quezon City, this Friday, February 19, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The audition is open to all bachelor Filipino citizens, 18 to 31 years old, at least 5 feet and 9 inches tall and with pleasing personality.

Applicants are requested to bring:  original and photo copies of their birth certificated authenticated by the National Statistics Office, Philippine passport, hard and soft copies of their set cards, and swimwear. They must also come in white shirt and jeans/pants.

While the 2016 edition is still on the works, the reigning winners of Misters 2015 The Pageant: Karan Singhdole (Man of the Year Philippines), Don McGyver Cochico (Manhunt International Philippines) and AR Dela Serna (1st RU) had been busy with activities as part of the events as reigning PEPPS kings leading to the 2016 contest.

The 3 reigning winners were in Laoag for the Pamulinawen Festival and were part of the judges of Miss Laoag 2016.

Expect more appearances from the kings of Prime Event Production Philippines Foundation: Neil Perez (Mister International 2014), Karan, Don, AR, Christian Mark Galang (Mister Asia Philippines 2014) and Nicko Cruz (Misters 2014 1st Runner Up) onwards the road to the 2016 competition.

The 40 Official Candidates for Bb. Pilipinas 2016 has been named, this ladies are bound to fight for 5 crowns: Miss Universe Philippines, Bb. Pilipinas International, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental and Bb. Pilipinas Grand International.


Indeed a challenging year after the respective placements of Pia Wurtzbach (Miss Universe 2015), Ann Colis (Miss Globe 2015), Christi Lynn McGarry (Miss Intercontinental 1st Runner Up), Parul Shah (Miss Grand International 3rd RU), Janicel Lubina (Miss International Top 10 Semifinalist) and Rogelie Catacutan (Miss Supranational Top 20).

Another aspirant who would want to capture a Bb. Pilipinas 2016 crown is Mariella Castillo.

If the name does ring a bell, well, it should be, Ella, then 18 already signed up and made it to Bb. Pilipinas 2010 (batch of Venus Raj, Czarina Gatbonton and Krista Kleiner) where she landed at the Top 15 that year. Fresh of Bb. Pilipinas 2010, Ella was picked by the local franchise holders to be the country's representative to Miss Global Teen where she was named as the Queen Teen of Asia and Oceania.

Now 24, Ella is back, under Kagandahang Flores with the hopes of trying to slay finally a Bb. Pilipinas crown.

After 4 years of hiatus, Manhunt International has already called out its national directors for the confirmation of the participation of their Manhunt winners to the Manhunt International 2016 Pageant.

Don McGyver Cochico, Manhunt International Philippines 2016, will be participating in this competition.

The very first edition of Man of the Year will be held on Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia from August 13-22 in Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru.

Pekanbaru is the capital of Riau Province and is the third largest city on the island of Sumatra, after Medan in the North and Palembang in South Sumatra. A large and clean city, Pekanbaru is better known as a business city for its exports of crude oil, palm oil, and pulp and paper. It is cut from west to east by the Siak River, which serves as river transport.

Around Pekanbaru you will find miles of palm oil plantations, and a number of oil drillings in Dumai and Rumbai. The town also has a number of manicured golf courses and boasts a large sports center.
Because of its history, Pekanbaru is a cosmopolitan city inhabited by a number of ethnic groups, including Malays, Minangkabau and a sizeable Chinese population.

This year's Man of the Year Philippines is Karan Singhdole from Misters 2015 Winners under Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation.  

It's that time of the year again as the Miss Global Philippines Organization on its 3rd year begins its preparations for Miss Global Philippines 2016.

Qualifications:
- 18 - 28 years old
- Minimum Height Requirement of 5'6"
- At least High School Graduate
- Filipino Citizen
