After the failed bid to Miss Progress International, Julian Aurine Flores has submitted her application and was presented as an official candidate for Miss Manila 2014 to be held on June 24.

Julian indeed is one of the favorites in this contest. 

 

After the abdication of Miss Universe Thailand Weluree Ditsayabut of her title, the MU Thailand Organization decided that Miss Universe Thailand 1st Runner Up Pimbongokod "Ellie" Chankaew will be the one to represent their country to Miss Universe 2014.

The 63rd Edition of Miss USA saw the crowning of Nia Sanchez from Nevada. Nia bested out 50 delegates to succeed Erin Brady and capture the Miss USA crown.

Nia will compete in Miss Universe 2014 where she would be meeting Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa 

2013 Miss Supranational Mutya Datul along with 2013 Miss Grand International Janelee Chapparo will be gracing the finals of Miss Grand Thailand to be held on June 17. There are 5 crowns at stake in this event: Miss Grand International Thailand, Miss Supranational Thailand, Miss Earth Thailand, Miss Intercontinental Thailand and Miss Tourism International Thailand 

 

At present, the 5 crowned queens, including Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa are all in the thick off working out and getting themselves pageant ready. MJ already has a body that men look after and are to die for but it is understandable if she wants more, seeing she follows the quartet that made it to the Top 5 (Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon and Ariella Arida).

Her chances? Swimsuit (definitely 10++), Gown (I kinda doubted if Barraza would be dropped from the equation but I hope the fit will not be like Ariella Arida's gown so I give it an 8) and Q&A (She's definitely used to doing a lot of talking so I will give her a 9.5). Overall, BPCI should look into MJ's wardrobe, which should highlight the sexiness of the lady who definitely wants to win the crown for the Philippines.

After being vetoed out to participate in Miss Universe 2013 which was held in Russia (who does not recognized Kosovo as a country), Miss Universe Kosovo returns to Miss Universe 2014 with Mirjeta Shala,  Miss Universe Kosovo 2013 representing the country.

The 20 year old model is out to prove that Kosovo deserves a place in the Miss Universe finals. How does Mirjeta Shala fall on your list?
