Glennifer Perido: Road to Miss Tourism International Three Peat

She may not be the top Mutya winner but she has the pressures of winning three-peat, after Rizzini Alexis Gomez and Angeli Dione Gomez, Glennifer Perido, who was crowned as Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2014 takes on now the challenge of winning the crown thrice in the New Year's Eve Competition in Malaysia. 

Banking on previous pageant experiences (She almost nailed the Miss Philippines Earth 2012 title and became second to Stephany Stefanowitz), Glennifer brings to the table wealth of pageant experience which I think would make her standout in Malaysia also I see her presence as a way of promoting the country to other Asian countries as the essence of what a Filipina beauty queen is all about. 

Me thinks: I hope and pray that Glennifer may be able to win the crown, if not a Top 5 finish will be nice. We hope to document Miss Tourism International's pre-pageant activities.

Eva Psychee Patalinjug: Mutya's Top Winner Goes Where?

Eva Psychee Patalinjug managed to capture a lot of awards during the Mutya Finals and ended up with the Mutya Asia Pacific International crown but with no sure franchise yet - I tried to google where with Eva go but it seemed that Miss Asia Pacific International is categorized with the Super Talent endeavor held recently with Hillarie Parungao as the representative.

Whatever will Eva go, I just hope she really does represent us. Congratulations again Eva Psychee Patalinjug, Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2014.

Miss Grand Philippines 2014 gets crowned August 16

Chaired by Beauty Queen Maker John Dela Vega, the inaugural search for Miss Grand Philippines will happen on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 7pm at the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center, Diliman, Quezon City with 19 ladies competing to succeed handpicked delegate, Bb. Pilipinas 2012 1st Runner Up and Miss Grand International 3rd Runner Up Ali Forbes to represent the country to Miss Grand International on October 7, 2014.

The Bangkok-based competition managed to caught the attention of pageant fans after its inaugural staging that had 72 contestants at the Impact Arena. Miss Grand International 2013 Janelee Chapparo and Miss Grand International owner Nawat Isaratgrisil is expected to grace the event.

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 Winners

The Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 Grand Coronation Night was held last Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Solaire Resort and Casino where Cebu City's Eva Psychee Patalinjug grabbed the Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International crown meanwhile Glennifer Perido of the Cordilleras tries to make it three peat as she was crowned as Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International and will compete in the new year to try to succeed Angeli Dionne Gomez, reigning Miss Tourism International 2013-14.

Milan's Patrizia Bosco was crowned as Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Communities while Cristine Cheeny Racel and Kim Fyfe round up the winners as 1st and 2nd Runner Up respectively.

The full program will air tomorrow, August 10, 2014 on GMA-7 and was hosted by Bela Padilla, Christian Bautista and Kristine Caballero Aplal.

Debora Menicucci: Miss Venezuela Mundo 2014 on road to London

Team Venezuela 2014 is now complete with the coronation of Debora Menicucci as Miss Venezuela Mundo 2014.

The 23 year old Miss Amazonas who was unplaced in the Miss Venezuela 2013 pageant which saw the selection of Migbelis Castellanos (Universe), Michelle Bertollini (International) and Stephanie de Zorzi (Earth) will be representing Venezuela to the Miss World pageant in the 2nd edition separate to the original Miss Venezuela.

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014: Eva Psychee Patalinjug for your consideration

While some go for the seasoned pageant contestants like Glennifer Perido and Cheeny Racel and the JDV bet, Patrizia Bosco, there are other Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 candidates who may seem to peak at the right time. Take for example: Eva Psychee Sorono Patalinjug, who was recently was awarded as the Best in Swimsuit in the Pre-Pageant Competition just recently. She may caught Mutya fans turn towards her at the right time.

With Mutya just few weeks away, would you imagine seeing her end up as the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 and vie for the title Miss Tourism International from Angeli Dionne Gomez (reigning winner 2013-2014) this year?
