After 4 years of hiatus, Manhunt International has already called out its national directors for the confirmation of the participation of their Manhunt winners to the Manhunt International 2016 Pageant.

Don McGyver Cochico, Manhunt International Philippines 2016, will be participating in this competition.

The very first edition of Man of the Year will be held on Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia from August 13-22 in Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru.

Pekanbaru is the capital of Riau Province and is the third largest city on the island of Sumatra, after Medan in the North and Palembang in South Sumatra. A large and clean city, Pekanbaru is better known as a business city for its exports of crude oil, palm oil, and pulp and paper. It is cut from west to east by the Siak River, which serves as river transport.

Around Pekanbaru you will find miles of palm oil plantations, and a number of oil drillings in Dumai and Rumbai. The town also has a number of manicured golf courses and boasts a large sports center.
Because of its history, Pekanbaru is a cosmopolitan city inhabited by a number of ethnic groups, including Malays, Minangkabau and a sizeable Chinese population.

This year's Man of the Year Philippines is Karan Singhdole from Misters 2015 Winners under Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation.  

It's that time of the year again as the Miss Global Philippines Organization on its 3rd year begins its preparations for Miss Global Philippines 2016.

Qualifications:
- 18 - 28 years old
- Minimum Height Requirement of 5'6"
- At least High School Graduate
- Filipino Citizen

Then head over to the Miss Global Philippines Foundation Office. It is open from monday to friday 10am to 5pm at 4E Symphony Tower, Sgt. Esguerra St., corner Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

The Miss Global Philippines Organization has made it successfully in the last 2 pageants with Catherine Almirante (2014) as 2nd Runner Up and reigning Miss Global Philippines Mary Candice Ramos who was 4th Runner Up in last year's competition. 

Another lady who is reportedly joining the screenings is Eva Psychee Patalinjug.

The former Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2014 winner will give the nationals a try, this time with Binibining Pilipinas still under Kagandahang Flores.

Eva, who won Mutya in 2014 failed to compete internationally after her supposed Top Model stint did not materialize.

A lady that is expected to join the screenings for Bb. Pilipinas 2016 is Athena Catriz who is a part of the team of Kagandahang Flores.

Familiar? You bet. Athena was a part of the maiden edition of Miss Global Philippines back in 2014 and was a part of the Top 5 (Tourism Ambassador). She got a chance to compete this year in the Miss Summer International 2015 Pageant where she was a runner-up.

Athena is one of those hopefuls you surely would not want to miss.

Mrs. World 2016 would already go full force with Mrs. World 2015 Philippines Allie Jaafar Wang as the country's representative in Dongguan, China from March 1 - 12, 2016. Allie, 44, is a UN permanent official representative for indigenous peoples’ issues is also known as the mother of Miss Globe International Philippines 2015 Toni Alyessa Hipolito and Miss Philippines Earth 2014 Candidate Trixie Hipolito.

Allie's participation was made possible by its franchise director in the Philippines, Ovette Ricalde of Megastar Productions.

After a string of resignations left and right of the Misters 2015 winners to which your blogger would not go into detail, placements and who will crown whom has already been finalized with the pageant franchises of PEPPS:

Mister International 2014 Neil Perez will be on hand to crown the Mister International Philippines 2016 which would happen later this year. Rein Villareal, Mister International Philippines 2015 and Mister International 2015 Top 10 Finalist has tendered his resignation with PEPPS and joined the group of Gentlemen of the Philippines.

Manhunt International and Man of the Year are two other pageant franchises under Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation, with Don McGyver Cochico and Karan Singhdole expected to compete this year. They would also crown their respective successors in the 2016 Pageant.

AR Dela Serna who was promoted to 2nd Runner Up assumes the 1st Runner Up title vacated by Kevin Fichera, who also jumped ship to Gentlemen of the Philippines. AR, Don McGyver and Karan make up this year's PEPPS reigning winners.
