Miss Earth 2014: Schedule of Activities

If you intend to watch any of the pre-pageant events leading to the November 29 contest, please note that there are dates that are by invitation and dates that would require tickets. Pretty sure you would want to see the final event where Alyz Henrich, Miss Earth 2013 will crown her successor at the UP Theater. 



Rosevemme Fajardo: Miss Universal Peace and Humanity Pageant 2014 Bet

John Dela Vega, franchise owner of Miss Grand Philippines left no stones unturned for the first edition of his contest. Aside from Kimberly Karlsson, his two runners up had been reportedly getting a share of international competitions with Miss Universal Peace & Humanity and Miss Heritage International 2014.

Rosevemme Calalang Fajardo will be donning the Philippine sash to Cyprus at the 2014 edition of Miss Universal Peace & Humanity. Rosevemme is the 1st Runner Up of this year's Miss Grand Philippines. Goodluck Rosevemme and Congratulations Sir John!

A Tougher Miss International 2014

There are a lot of changes in the format of the 54th Miss International Beauty Pageant which makes this year's competition something to look forward to.

a) Instead of the usual 15 or 12 Finalists, only 10 will move to the "speech" round, a tougher finals for Miss International Philippines Bianca Guidotti.

b) In place of the Top 3 winners (like last year with Bea Rose Santiago, Nathalie Den Dekker and Casey Radley), there would be 5 declared winners this year. The Miss International up to the 4th Runner Up will stay in Japan until November 19.

c) Aside from the Miss National Costume and Miss Friendship 2014, there are 3 other awards:
 - Miss Internet Beauty 2014 
 - Miss Perfect Body 2014
 - Best Dresser 2014

Bb. Pilipinas 2014: Will Laura Lehmann and Hannah Sison join the pageant fun as well?

Apart from the 4 other crowned queens, noticeable during the send-off of Miss Philippines-International Bianca Guidotti are the runners-up, Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison. The two clearly knew their tasks for this year and are doing it well.

Laura, a courtside reporter for Ateneo De Manila University finds time to juggle studies and her duties while Hannah has taken a temporary leave from teaching and went on to be much more visible during the Binibini events. 

Clearly, there is no pageant assignment for the two (we still have Parul who may not be competing because of a cancelled MTQI) so I am wondering if we get to see the two competing once more for the crown. Hannah can still compete this year while the younger Lau may opt to wait for 2 more years.

Bianca Guidotti First Update

Miss Philippines-International Bianca Guidotti made her first update in Japan, They did some unofficial shopping and tea ceremony with only 11 early delegates in Tokyo alongside the reigning queen Bea Rose Santiago.

A total of 60 delegates have came in today, looking forward to the events that will lead to the Miss International Finals in November 11, 2014.

Bianca Guidotti Send-off for Miss International 2014

Bianca Guidotti recently had her send-off before leaving for Tokyo on Saturday, October 25 and it was a fitting tribute like no other filled with the love of her family and her Binibini sisters (MJ, Kris, Parul, Yvethe, Laura and Hannah), Bianca will definitely go to her journey confident and a stand-out.

The task at hand of bringing the 6th Miss International crown for the Philippines may seem to be daunting but Bianca believes it is doable. She will be with the reigning Miss International Bea Santiago for most of the pre-pageant events, something she can look forward to while there in Tokyo.

Miss International is known for its "speech" part, answering the question why you want to be Miss International: Your blogger thinks Bianca will have that portion filled with heart since she had a background of humanitarian work (NGO).

Punika Kulsoontornrut: Getting ready for Miss International 2014

Punika Kulsoontornrut is getting ready to depart for Tokyo to be part of the Miss International 2014.

Regardless of what her reasons maybe for foregoing an ongoing contract with Carousel Productions as Miss Earth Water 2013, she asks that everyone respect her decision. She knows that there are a lot of fans who were shocked that she had to breach her contract that lead to an eventual dethronement just a week back.

The former Miss Earth Water 2013 is out to give Thailand its first MI crown and would be up against Miss Philippines-International Bianca Guidotti.

Goodluck on that journey Polly! and may you have the chance to be friends with our dear Bianca.
