The Miss Universe fever has began with Philippines very own Mary Jean Lastimosa trying her best to capture the 3rd Crown for the Philippines after Gloria Diaz (1969) and Margarita Moran (1973). Here are some of her pre-pageant shots for the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant:

The gown was reportedly from a New York store and not of Almodal or Kim Gan but has gained the yays of the netizens especially of those who understand the culture within the previous Miss Universe candidates from Bb. Pilipinas.
