Will Bangkok make Meryll a Queen?

Bangkok. Thailand has been good for Philippines Pageants as we celebrated the victory of Kevin Balot (Miss International Queen) and June Macasaet (Manhunt International). On December 15, another Filipina will be representing the country in the Miss Tourism World pageant in Bangkok, Thailand in Meryll Angelie King. Meryll is the winner of the first ever Miss Tourism World Philippines contest.
 
Meryll hopes to follow the footsteps of Michelle Reyes who last won the competition in 2002. The reigning Miss Tourism World is Ecaterina Sau of Moldova.
 
 
 
 


The Search for Binibining Pilipinas 2013 now on

Just when you think that 2012 is not yet over, BPCI makes it earliest announcement for the 50th Edition of Binibining Pilipinas (Bb. Pilipinas 2013) as it formally starts accepting applications for the 2013 contest. During Janine Tugonon's send-off, Madam Stella Araneta, chairperson of BPCI announced that the search for Binibining Pilipinas 2013 is on as well as Shamcey being a presenter/host in the forthcoming Miss Universe 2012.

Miss Universe Philippines 2011 Shamcey Supsup to host "On-the-Scene"

Miss Universe Philippines 2011 and eventual Miss Universe 3rd Runner Up Shamcey Supsup would be gracing the Miss Universe stage once more as the correspondent to "On The Scene" the web-series on the official Miss Universe Youtube channel (www.youtube.com/OfficialMissUniverse.) She will be going to Las Vegas to take pageant fans behind the scenes as 89 contestants prepare for their respective events like the National Costume Competition on December 14.
 
After taking a peek at the contestants behind-the-scenes hosted by Shamcey, do make sure you would vote for the contestants at the missuniverse.com page: 10 votes per day per email until December 19.

Filipinos had proven time in and time out how they can make wonders in helping PH bets with different pageants. If you would recall how Filipinos voted to help Dianne Necio capture the Miss Internet award during Miss International 2011, you would be impressed on how they used social networking sites to promote the cause.

Miss Tourism Queen of the Year 2012 Results

Asta Jakumaite, a student/model from Lithuania bested 49 other contestants in the recently held Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2012 last December 3, 2012 in Nanjing, China.

Jakumaite also competed in the recent Miss International 2012 representing Lithuania, however she was unplaced.

Fil-Canadian bet of the Philippines, Bea Rose Monterde Santiago, who was crowned before as the Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Communities 2011 placed on the Top 10 of the competition.
