Should Miss World Philippines crown Megan Young now?

Prepared, Pretty, Stand-out.

This is how I describe Miss World Philippines aspirant Megan Young during the screening last Sunday, July 21. A lot may think of her as overhyped but who will not hype her? She came to the MOA area prepared and ready to show the world what she's made off.  There are 3 more other ladies running for the title, 2 bannering RL (Patricia Ejercitado and Ria Rabajante) who can give Young a run for the crown currently held by Queenie Rehman.

Who will make it to the list of official candidates?

Mutya is ready for Belarus

The Voting Page for Miss Supranational Philippines Mutya Johanna Datul

In just over a few weeks from now, we expect the first BPCI send-off to be done on behalf of Mutya Johanna Datul, 2013 Miss Supranational Philippines who will be leaving for Minsk, Belarus a month before the actual contest. The voting page for Miss Internet in the 2013 edition has already been up however, just like last year, you would need to spend a minimum of $5.00 to vote for your favorite candidate, so if you have extra moolah you would not mind spending for this lady don't you?

How far will she go? Will she exceed the placement of Elaine Kay Moll (Miss Supranational 2012 3rd RU)? Me thinks she will blend well in Belarus and can give other candidates a run for the title currently held by Ekaterina Buraya of Belarus.

Two Pinay Beauties will compete at the Miss Southeast Asian 2013, they are Aura Donna Garon and Clarize Barrameda.

We wish them luck as they do their best to give honor to the Philippines. 

Samantha Purvor is Miss Grand International Philippines 2013?

Miss Philippines Water 2012 Samantha Purvor had been surprised to know that she was named to be the representative of the country to Miss Grand International. The 25 year old elemental beauty queen in last year's Miss Philippines-Earth is no stranger to pageants, she joined Bb. Pilipinas 2011 (won by MU 3rd RU Shamcey Supsup) and Miss World Philippines 2011 (won by Gwendoline Ruais). Last year, she represented San Juan City and was later on crowned as Miss Philippines Water.

We just hope that Sam will be given notice first before any publicized announcements, as she confirms, she doesn't know about the representation to Miss Grand International.

Who will be the next Miss World Philippines 2013?

At last, there are set screening dates for MWP 2013, though it may give an impression that it was too rushed, at least it is definitely pushing through. General Screening will happen on Sunday, July 21 at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia and Final Screening on Tuesday, July 23.

I am wondering who will Queenie Rehman crown on August 4...

MWP 2013 applicants include Megan Young and Miss World Philippines 3rd Princess 2011 Paula Bianca Paz.

Mutya Datul is ready to conquer Belarus

Ready for Miss Supranational 2013 she is

In a little over a few weeks, Bb. Pilipinas - Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul will be leaving for Belarus, venue of Miss Supranational 2013. Datul is the 2nd BPCI bet after Elaine Kay Moll who was appointed as Miss Supranational Philippines 2012 and later on became Miss Supranational 2012 3rd RU.

Zandra Flores: From Binibini to Mutya 2013

Girls of Bb. Pilipinas 2013 are trying to head another shot with a beauty queen crown. Take Aiyana Camille Mickiewicz who won the Miss Tourism World Philippines title and now, Zandra Flores makes it to the first batch of official candidates for Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013.

Zandra, a former MPE 2012 candidate under Kagandahang Flores caught my attention during the BBP '13 season, hopefully, she gets to place in Mutya this year.
